When you use Portaz, we collect information you provide directly - such as your name, company details, and contact information at sign-up - and information generated by using the platform, such as shipment records, billing data, and vehicle/driver records entered by your team.

2. KYC and Identity Documents

Where a module requires identity verification (for example, customer or agent onboarding), document numbers are encrypted before they are stored and are never logged or displayed in full. Verification is performed by a configured third-party KYC provider under the terms of our agreement with that provider.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and maintain your Portaz account and the modules you use.
• To generate invoices, bills, and reports on your behalf.
• To secure your account, including login audit and screen-level access control.
• To respond to support requests and communicate service updates.

4. Data Retention

Operational records (shipments, bills, audit trails) are retained for as long as your account is active and for the period required by applicable tax and regulatory record-keeping requirements thereafter.
